This policy explains what information the Navtarang Radio app (“Navtarang,” “we,” “us”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Navtarang is a free, ad-supported live internet-radio app. You can listen without creating an account.

Information we collect

Navtarang collects only limited data needed to run the app and show advertisements:

• Advertising identifier (IDFA/IDFV) — used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads.
• Device type and OS version — for compatibility and app performance.
• App configuration/usage signals — via Firebase Remote Config, so we can adjust the app (for example, the live stream) without an update.
• Push notification token — only if you grant notification permission (see “Push notifications”).

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, or any other personally identifiable information, and we do not ask you to sign in.

Advertising and tracking consent

Navtarang is supported by ads served through Google AdMob, which may use your device’s advertising identifier to show relevant ads.

• App Tracking Transparency (ATT): On first launch we ask for your permission before using the advertising identifier for tracking. If you decline, you’ll still see ads, but they’ll be non-personalized.
• EEA/UK consent: Where required, we present a Google-certified consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) so you can choose how your data is used for ads.

Purchases

Navtarang offers an optional “Remove Ads” purchase. Payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store — we never receive or store your card details. Purchase validation is handled by Apple’s StoreKit.

Push notifications

If you enable notifications, we may send occasional station announcements via Firebase Cloud Messaging. Your notification token is stored on Google/Firebase servers and is never sold. You can turn notifications off any time in Settings → Navtarang → Notifications.

We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention

We do not maintain our own database of personal information. Advertising identifiers and notification tokens are processed and retained by Google under their respective policies.

Your choices

• Opt out of personalized ads: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off for Navtarang.
• Reset your advertising identifier: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Reset Advertising Identifier.
• Disable notifications: Settings → Navtarang → Notifications.

Children’s privacy

Navtarang is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

International users

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data and to withdraw consent. Because we do not maintain personal records ourselves, most such requests relate to data held by Google or Apple; contact us and we’ll help direct your request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
